Valeriano Ortiz-DeJesus

Valeriano Ortiz-DeJesus, of the Tacony section of Philadelphia, passed away on January 31st, 2021, at age 84. Beloved husband of Julia DeJesus (née Jimenez), Loving father of Orlando Ortiz (Jennifer), Juan Ortiz, Luis Ortiz (Shelley), Julia Ortiz (Jose Rosa) and Lisa Melendez (Norberto Rosa). Sadly missed by many grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and many siblings. Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing and funeral on Tuesday February 9th from 10-11am at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford Ave. (between Unruh & Knorr Sts). There will be a Prayer Service at 11am. Burial will be held in private by his family. Because of the current health concerns, face masks are required and there will be a limit on attendees inside the funeral home.
