Thelma (Kathy) Stanton

age 64 passed away on Monday, April 13, 2020 at Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia from liver cancer.  she was born on July 18, 1955 in Cape May, New Jersey to Emerson and Catherine (Prusinowski) Stanton. She leaves behind many family & friends.

Paul Nusbaum (Butch) her companion of 26 years, two daughters,  Elizabeth ( Walt) Haslett, Sherry Stanton, one son, Michael (AnnMarie) Swope, 10 grandchildren, Walt Jr (Mary), Kristen, Michael,  Sean, Savhanna, Sherry Ann, Ryan, Ashley (Jay) Charles ,Darius and 3 great grandchildren, Damien, Alina, and Noah.  Kathy was one of 5, Louie, Mary Ann, John, and Joan. She loved her extended Bonett family.

Kathy was an exceptional mother, sister,  grandmom, G-nan and friend. She cared deeply for her family & friends. She loved to help & care for people. She did this not out of obligation but because of who she  was.  Besides her helping & loving her family & friends, she loved to spend her summer months in Cape May, and Wildwood, at the beach especially with her family & friends. She enjoyed knitting countless pieces, decorating for every holiday, playing cards, bingo and casino trips. She loved to cook especially her polish food. She will be deeply missed by many especially her children.  Her celebration of life is postponed until further notice due to the Coronavirus.
