Robert J. Burke

Robert J. Burke, formerly of the Tacony section of Philadelphia, passed away on December 8, 2021, at age 72. Beloved husband of Susan Burke (nee Berry). Loving father of Robert Burke (Wendy), Janis McNamara (Brian), Sharon Burke (Dennis Foley) and Daniel Burke (Lindsay) Devoted grandfather of Ryan, Natalie, Brandon, Colin, Jason, Ava and Taylor. Brother of James Burke (Diane), Michael Burke (the late Teresa) and late William Burke (Geraldine). Sadly missed by his loving extended family members.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Monday Evening from 6:00-8:00pm at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford Ave. (between Unruh & Knorr Sts). There will be another viewing on Tuesday morning from 10:00am – 11:00am (also in the funeral home). Prayer service to follow at 11:00am. Burial will be held at a later time at the convenience of the family. Robert will be laid to rest with full military honors in Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
