Nunzia Azzara

Nunzia Azzara (nee Caruso) passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family,  on September 6th, 2021, at age 84.  Beloved wife of Ignazio Azzara. Loving mother of Nicola Azzara (Michele) and Salvatore Azzara (Victoria). Beloved nonna of Nicholas, Jason, Brian, Salvatore and Victoria. Sadly missed by her siblings, Biagio Caruso (Nunziata), Angela Camano (the late Thomas), Nicola Caruso (Manuela), Placido Caruso (Nunziatina), Antonino Caruso (Lucia), Vincenza DiGregorio (Nello). Preceded in death by her parents, Nunziata and Salvatore Caruso. Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing and funeral on Wednesday, September 15th from 9:00am – 10:00am in Maternity BVM Church, 9220 Old Bustleton Ave. Phila., PA 19115. There will be a funeral mass at 10:00am with burial to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.  Please omit flowers and make donations in Nunzia’s memory to Holy Redeemer Hospice. Donate Here
