Mary McGovern, of the Holmesburg section of Philadelphia, passed away September 7th, 2021 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late James McGovern. Loving mother of Jerry McGovern (Joyce), Michael McGovern (Grace) and the late Mark McGovern. Devoted mom-mom of Kelly McGovern (Scott), Katie McGovern (Jeff), Sean McGovern (Moria), Kevin McGovern (Laura), Lauren McGovern (Sean), Meghan McGovern (Ryan) and James McGovern. Great mom-mom of Genevieve, Gabriel, Maeve, Declan, Logan and Sawyer. Sister of the late Dolores Johnson. Family and friends are invited to gather, remember and celebrate Mary’s life on Saturday September 11th at St. Bernard’s Church (7341 Cottage St. Phila., PA 19136) You may visit and comfort Mary’s family during the viewing from 9:15AM-10:00AM. There will be a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM. Burial to follow in Hillside Cemetery. Please keep the family in your prayers. Thank you.
