John P. Kane

John Patrick Kane, formerly of Morrell Park in Philadelphia, died in center city on November 1, 2020, at age 62. He attended Abraham Lincoln HS, and but for short visits to Guánica, PR, lived his entire life in Philadelphia. Before his long illness he did photo editing at the Philadelphia Inquirer and was an avid bicyclist; though a photographer, he disliked being subjected to photos. He was predeceased by parents Joseph J and Ruth M (Ramirez) Kane and sister Patricia R Kane-Vanni. He is survived by brothers Edward J, Joseph J, Robert P, Richard J, and Timothy D, brother-in-law Cigus Vanni, step-sister Deborah Bohn, and by many nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, and grand-nieces. A memorial service will be held at a later post-pandemic date. λάθε βιώσας.
