John Charles Steele

John Charles Steele, of the Mayfair section of Philadelphia, passed away January 29th, 2020 at the age of 88. Son of the late John and Marie Steele (nee Remsch). Beloved husband of the late Dolores Steele (nee Cullen). Loving father of Sharon Petzak (Donald) and Brian Steele. Grandfather of Daniel Reiher (Megan), Brianna Petzak, Alexis Petzak and the late Eric Petzak. Great-grandfather of Madelyn and Connor. Brother of the late Thomas Steele and Robert Steele. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to gather, remember and celebrate John’s life on Monday February 10th at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19135. (between Unruh & Knorr Sts.) You may visit and comfort John’s family during the visitation from 10:30AM-11:30AM. There will be a Prayer Service at 11:30AM in the Funeral Home.
