Jeanette Smith, of the Somerton section of Philadelphia, passed away on December 7, 2021, at age 59. Beloved wife of John Walkowiak. Loving mother of Michael Smith, William Smith, John Walkowiak, Stacy Walkowiak and Christopher Walkowiak. Devoted grandmother of Michael, Kira, Kilee, Lola, John and Brooklyn. Sister of Jim Powell (Shelly), Emily Lord (Eric), Linda Haas and the late John Meade (Sherry). Daughter of the late Emily Fox and Jack Meade. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing and funeral on Thursday, December 16th, from 9:30am – 11:00am at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc., 6711 Frankford Ave. (between Unruh & Knorr sts). There will be a prayer service at 11:00am. Burial will be in private at a later date. Please omit flowers and consider donations in Jeanette’s memory to American Heart Association.
