James J. Smolen

James J. Smolen, “Storky” of the Mayfair section of Philadelphia, passed away November 3rd 2021, at the age of 68. Son of the late Stanley and Jennie Smolen. Loving father of Lauren Smolen. Beloved brother of Charlotte Taylor (the late Thomas) as well as the late Thomas Smolen and Stanley Smolen. Uncle of Karen and Tommy. He is also survived by his great nieces, nephews and friends.  James was a proud member of The Forrest Hill Club, American Legion and Local No. 19 (Sheet Metal Workers) Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life for Storky, Thursday, December 2nd, from 4:00pm – 8:00pm at The Forrest Hill Club, 4622 Rhawn St. Phila., Pa 19136.
