Helene Devlin

Helene Devlin (nee Slater), formerly of Mayfair, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on December 29th, 2019, at age 88. Beloved wife for 65 years to Bernard Devlin, III. Loving mom of Helene Niessen (Tom, Jr.) Mike Devlin (Gina Scogna), Thomas Devlin (Melanie), Joseph Devlin (Theresa) and late Bernard Devlin IV. Sadly missed by her former daughter-in-law Antonietta. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Sister of Mary Connaire, Harry Slater  (Maryanne) and the late Tom Slater and Theresa Nessmith. Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing and funeral on Monday January 6th from 9:00-11:00 am in St. Timothy RC Church, 3001 Levick St. Phila., Pa 19149. There will be a funeral mass at 11:00am with burial to follow in Holy Sepuchre Cem. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Helene’s memory to Hayes Manor, Retirement Residence, 2210 Belmont Ave. Phila., PA 19131.
