Edward C. Miller

Edward C. Miller, of Northeast Philadelphia, passed away on December 14th, 2021, at the age of 88. He was born in Pittsburg, PA to Otto Miller and Freida Leitsch. He was preceded in death by his siblings; Jim, Bill, Glenn, Ruth, Dorothy and Elizabeth. Ed is survived by his son Gary Miller, his daughter Michelle Sulikowski, his long time companion Barbara Fucci, his grandchildren; Amy Joan, Roxanne, Ryan and Megan as well as his great-grandchild, Jude. Ed has been blessed with a large, loving family and many dear friends throughout his life. Ed had many hobbies that included bowling, pool and fishing with his brothers as well as ballroom dancing with Barbara. His favorite hobby was laughing and finding joy in everyday life. He is an Army veteran and worked most of his life as a supervisor at Sears. A kind and gentle soul, Ed will be missed on this earth, but he will always live on in our hearts. He touched many lives and has left us all with fond memories and more than a few funny stories. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, January 7th at McCafferty Funeral and Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19135 (between Unruh & Knorr Sts.) You may visit and comfort Ed’s family during his visitation from 12:30PM-2:00PM. There will be a prayer service in the funeral home at 2:00PM.
