Donald Faris Evans

Donald Faris Evans, born in Gentry, MO on September 24th, 1923, passed away January 16th, 2020 at the age of 96. Donald was a WWII veteran and he served on the USS Cabot in the Pacific as a signal man. He served from December 15th, 1942 to December 15th 1945. Beloved husband of 75 years to the late Marie Evans (nee Joyce). Loving  father of Donna Wagner (nee Evans), Robert McConnell, Denise McConnell and the late Al Wagner. Dear brother of Connie Mercer, Billie Evans, Milton Evans, the late Marylee Evans, Isaac Dwain, Owen and George. Grandfather of 11 grandchildren, great-grandfather of 16 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandfather of 3 great-great-grandchildren. He will be missed. Entombment with full military honors will be held in private by his family.
