Dolores Decker

Dolores Decker (nee Jenkins), of the Tacony Section of Philadelphia, who was born on January 19th, 1930, passed away March 15th, 2020 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Raymond Decker. Loving mother of Raymond (the late Michele), Rick (Linda), Gary (Carole), Michael (Trish), Linda (the late Mark) Menkevich, Steven (Ellen), Janet (Tom) Evans, Tim (Roseann). Grandmother of 18 grand-children, great-grandmother of 16 great-grandchildren and great-great grandmother of 1 great-great grandchild. Sister of Donald Jenkins, Lois Ross, Renee Bierman, and the late Teddy and Gerald Jenkins. Family and friends are invited to gather, remember and celebrate Dolores’ life on Friday March 20th at St. Bartholomew’s R.C. Church 5600 Jackson St. Phila. PA 19124. You may visit and comfort the Decker family during the viewing from 9:00am-10:00am. There will be a Funeral Mass at 10:00am. Burial to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Please park in the lot behind the church and enter through the side doors. The doors facing Harbison Avenue will be closed. Please note  because of the circumstance surrounding the Coronavirus, we ask that you refrain from embracing one another, shaking hands and to practice the guidelines of social distancing 6 FEET apart from one another. We understand it’s difficult, but this is the request of Decker family for the safety of everybody involved.
