David Strocen Sr.

David Strocen Sr., “Dave”, of Berks County, formerly of South Philadelphia, passed away May 14th, 2021, at the age of 55. Loving father of Chrissy Welsh (Mike) and David Strocen II. Grandfather of Michael, Vincent and Athena. Beloved brother of Alex, Laura, Rose (Robert), Leon and Shawn. Devoted uncle of several nieces, nephews, sadly missed by many cousins. He will be missed by his loving companion, Alma White. Dave was a very handy man. He could build and fix anything he got his hands on. He had a passion for cooking and was a chef in the kitchen. Dave will be remembered for being an outgoing, loving, compassionate and caring person. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him. Family and friends are invited to gather, remember and celebrate David’s life on Friday May 21st at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford Ave Phila., PA 19135. (between Unruh & Knorr Sts.) You may visit and comfort Dave’s family from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm in the funeral home. There will be a Words of Remembrance Service at 1:00 pm.
