Bruce J. Slemmer

Bruce J. Slemmer, formerly of the Kensington section of Philadelphia, passed away August 5th, 2021, at age 57. Bruce was a career hairdresser, who worked primarily in center city and Newtown, PA. He is the beloved son of Charles Slemmer, Sr. and the late Christine Slemmer. Loving brother of Charles Slemmer, Jr., Thomas Slemmer, Christine Fedorowycz (the late Jerry), Susan Orange (Roy) and Helena Evans (Franny). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. Especially missed by his loving cousin Geraldine Lugo. Family and friends are invited to attend his memorial and funeral on Monday, August 16th, from 9:30-11:00am at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford Ave. (between Unruh & Knorr Sts). There will be a Prayer Service at 11:00am in the funeral home with burial to follow in Lakeview Memorial Park.
