Mr. Wah Shui Wong, of the Olney section of Philadelphia, passed away on May 12th, 2021, at age 86. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mrs. Koon Tai Wong, his 5 children and his 4 grandchildren. His eldest, Jenny Lin and her husband Derang Lin and their children Isable and Austin. The twins Peter Wong and Fanny Vinson, Fanny Vinson and her husband, Brian Vinson and their children, Peter and Jessica. Tony Wong and the youngest is Jimmy Wong. Mr. Wah Shui Wong retired from a delicious career as a chef and baker. Mr. Wah Shui Wong spent his retirement years caring for his wife, his children and tending to his garden. Mr. Wah Shui Wong was a bright and friendly man who was kind to all who met him.
Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation and funeral on Friday, May 28th at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc., 6711 Frankford Ave. (between Unruh & Knorr Sts.). You may visit and comfort the Wong Family during the visitation from 1:30 – 3:00 pm in the funeral home. There will be a Remembrance Service at 3:00pm.
