Mary C. Mellon

Mary C. Mellon (nee Fitzgerald), of the Mayfair section of Philadelphia, passed away in the comfort of her home on October 14th, 2019, at age 89. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Mellon. Loving mom of Mary Oetzel, Joe Mellon (Pat), Andrew Mellon, Jim Mellon and the late Jack Mellon. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Peg Dearie (John).  Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing and funeral on Friday October 18th from 9:30AM to 10:30AM in St. Bartholomew RC Church, 5600 Jackson St. (Please park in the rear parking lot). There will be a Funeral Mass at 10:30AM. Burial to follow in Magnolia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Mary’s memory to Lost & Found Dog Rescue, 70 Ivy Lane, New Castle DE, 19720.
