Marie E. Ungerbuehler

Marie E. Ungerbuehler,  age 77. Sadly, after fighting a valiant battle against Parkinson’s for many years, Marie strong in her Catholic faith, passed into the arms of the Lord on May 29, 2020.  A graduate of Hallahan High School in Philadelphia, Marie pursued her career and studied nursing at The Philadelphia General Hospital School of Nursing. Upon graduating, Registered Nurse Marie proudly served in the United States Air Force and traveled the world. Honorably discharged she continued her career of service as a nurse in numerous Veterans Affairs hospitals across the country (ultimately finding her “home” in Tucson AZ. which lent itself well to her love of things Hot and Spicy). She enjoyed retirement but as the years progressed, she found it necessary to move east to be closer to family and what joyous times we had. Preceded by her parents William A. and Marie T. Ungerbuehler and her sister Carol Ann M. (Lavin) she is survived by her loving sister Jo-Ann M. (Krough) and numerous nephews, nieces, and family members who are so very grateful to have known and been loved by such a force of nature. She will be missed but never forgotten.
