James P. Dougherty

James P. Dougherty, “Doc”, of Northeast Philadelphia, passed away on October 3rd, 2020, at the age of 65. Beloved father of Shannon Meyer (Phil). Loving grandfather of Patrick, Finnegan and Timothy. Devoted brother of Cheryl, Ken (Maryellen), Michele and Lisa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his close friends who loved him dearly. There will be a Graveside Service for Jimmy on Friday, October 9th, in North Cedar Hill Cemetery (5800 Frankford Ave. Phila. PA 19135) at 1:30PM. Please arrive at the cemetery by 1:15PM. At the request of the family please wear your favorite sports jersey in honor of Jim “Doc.” In lieu of flowers please make donations in Jim’s memory  to the American Cancer Society.
