Grace Killen

Grace (Roat) Killen, of the Mayfair neighborhood in Philadelphia, passed away surrounded by her loving family on November 24, 2021 at age 99. Beloved mother of Joyce (Steve) Gendler, Richard (Alice) Killen, Evelyn Killen, Cheryl Roby, Linda Scache, Joan (Lon) Harless, Kenneth Killen. She is preceded in death by husband Edwin and daughter June. Beloved grandmother of Dawn, Christine, Jennifer, Benton, Ryan, Suzanne, Nicole, Garrett, Meagan, Chad, Robert, Jamie, Jimmy, and Jill as well as 12 great grandchildren. Grace was well known to all she met in her neighborhood, often sharing many stories of her life on her front steps. She lived her life with unconditional kindness, acceptance, and compassion for others with an open and generous heart. Family and friends will be invited to attend a celebration of life at a later date.
