Faith Grivenski (Nee Roberts)

1930-2021

Faith Grivenski, 90, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully in her home with friends and family by her side in the morning hours of July 5, 2021. Faith was born on September 30, 1930, in North Berwick, Maine. After graduating from High School and working for several years in Maine, Faith moved to Philadelphia in the 1970’s. Faith worked for several years at the Episcopal Hospital as part of their cleaning staff. Faith enjoyed traveling with her good friends Joan and Rose. Faith made it to every country in Europe, except for two, and had plans before Covid hit, to travel to the last two countries. Faith always had a love of Maine and traveled to Well’s Beach with her Cousin Mary Haswell and Tracy Haswell in 2018 and 2019, where she enjoyed taking in the sites and eating fresh seafood each day. Faith and her lifelong friend Mildred (Millie) McMullen enjoyed their time as members of the Wissinoming Yacht Club, where they spent many a weekend gathering with friends including Lee, Lil, Dee, and many more. Predeceased by her husband Stanley (Stash) Grivenski, Faith was a cherished wife, cousin, and friend; she will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know, laugh, and spend time with her.  A Celebration of life will be held Saturday August 14, 2021 2:00 pm-4:00 pm at the Wissinoming Yacht Club, 5200 Devereaux St, Philadelphia PA 19135; wear something blue in honor of Faith. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Wissinoming Yacht Club.
