Emma C. Cummings

Emma C. Cummings (nee Nuskey) of the Frankford section of Philadelphia,  passed away on December 12th, 2020, at age 93. Beloved husband of the late Edward J. Cummings. Loving mother of Sandrea Yorgey (late Robert Yorgey), Linda Gallo (Charles Gallo, Sr.), Cynthia Wilson (Matthew Wilson, Sr.) and the late Barbara Haag (Frederick Haag).  Also survived by her grandchildren Elizabeth Warner (Robert Davila, Sr.), Emma Warner, Erin Yorgey, Jessica Stropas (John Stropas), Edward Yorgey (Rachel Yorgey), Lindsey Burbano (Matthew Burbano), Olivia Haag (Christopher Chioffe), Ashley Wilson (Thomas Hawn), Matthew Wilson Jr. (Shawna Snyder) and Sarah Wilson, as well as her great grandchildren, Linda Warner, Robert Davila, Jr., Kevin Long, Jr., Carmen Lillick, Jr., Charlotte Yorgey and Rylee Stropas. Sadly missed by 1 great great grandchild, Evan Ayala. Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing and funeral on Friday, December 18th from 9:30am – 11:00am at McCafferty Funeral & Cremation Inc. 6711 Frankford Ave. (between Unruh & Knorr Sts). There will be a prayer service at 11:00am in the funeral home. Burial to follow in Greenmount Cemetery. Because of the current health crisis, there will be a strict limitation on the number of attendees in the funeral home. Face masks are required to enter and social distancing must be observed. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Emma’s memory to the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center at Jefferson Hospital. Donate
