Carlos Nieves

Carlos Nieves, of Philadelphia Pa., born in Arecibo Puerto Rico, passed away on August 27th, 2020, at the age of 80. He will be sadly missed and is survived by his daughters, Tamarah Nieves, Frances (Cookie), 4 sons, Miguel, Carlos Jr, Richard, Nick and a loving a family too large to name. Carlos was a proud grandfather of 8, and was an extremely family oriented man. He was a man who wasn’t afraid to let you know how he felt. He loved truck driving across the country, music and enjoyed cooking. Because of him, the family always got together on the holidays.
Please join family and friends to remember and celebrate Carlos’ life on Tuesday, September 8th, at McCafferty Funeral &  Cremation Inc., 6711 Frankford Ave. Phila PA. 19135 (between Unruh & Knorr Sts). You may visit and comfort Carlos’ family during the viewing from 9:30am – 11:00am in the funeral home. There will be a Prayer Service at 11:00am. Due to current health
concerns, face masks are required, and there will be a limit of  25 people at a time inside of the funeral home.
