Bernadette Henley

Bernadette Henley, of the Oxford Circle section of Philadelphia, passed away on November 20, 2021, at age 67. Beloved mother & grandmother you fought for a longtime. I should be sad and heartbroken but honestly I’m not ,yes you’ve been taken away from us but It’ll be selfish if that was my thought. The things you’ve been through. You’ve endured suffering and pain. No matter what we feel , There is no way we would want you to go through that again. The heavens have spoken ,The angels decided, it was time to go. Leaving behind all your memories, life lessons & recipes of course. I wouldn’t be the women & the mother I am today if it wasn’t for you. You me taught me how to drive ,How to work for everything I want in world , That there’s no limit when it comes to striving for what you want in life ,how to be kind, how show respect, how to cook & feed people ,even if you don’t care for them lol & most importantly to demand respect every time I walked into a room. That I will try to pass down to all of your grandchildren and great grands .We love you , you will be truly missed “Big Berny” Until we meet again mother. Loving mother and grandmother of Sheena Clement, Roger Oliver, Racheal Hurley, Sherry Anne Khan,  Denae Oliver, Dylan Oliver, Hamza Myrick, Ryker Oliver, Tron Bermudez, Zhane Hurley, Latisha Sherelle De Pezia, Hershell Khan.  At the request of Bernadette’s family, all services and interment will be held in her homeland, Trinidad. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers.
