Edward Paul Isaacson, 57, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 31, 2018. Ed was born April 20, 1961, in Philadelphia, PA and was a lifelong salesman, always ready with a good joke or friendly smile. Ed spent his early years in Philadelphia with his brothers and sisters, always in the close company of his younger brother, Herman. He grew up working in the food business, honing his sales skills hawking everything from hot dogs to lemonade on street corners. He relocated to Florida in 1988, where he married and raised his three children, whom he loved above all else. Ed enjoyed a long and varied sales career and was an avid follower of sports, especially the Philadelphia Eagles, current events, and politics. He was never known to turn down a Cheesesteak or a box of Good & Plenty’s—unfortunately for Wawa and 7-Eleven, they’ve lost their most loyal customer.
He was survived by his children Preston, Shayna (Tayloe), and Reuben; his siblings Linda, Joseph, David, Edith, and his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Theodore and Selma, as well as his siblings Susan and Herman. He will be dearly missed.
A private service will be held for family members.
