Dawn Anna Maria White, daughter of the late Jonathan Eugene and Barbara Antonia White was born on July 16th 1976 in Philadelphia, PA.  She was the youngest of five children with four brothers; Fernando Miguel “Bumps” Bruno (deceased), Jonathan Eugene Jr (deceased), Michael Eugene (deceased) & Jonathan Robert Samuel White.At an early age Dawn was an active member of the Historic St. Thomas Episcopal Church where she was confirmed and a member of the Girls Friendly Society. As a teenager Dawn was an avid swimmer and often dedicated her summers as a lifeguard at the Kingsessing Recreation Center. She attended Philadelphia public schools and was a graduate of John Bartram High School.On March 3rd 2004 Dawn was blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Ianyanna Antonia White, who is affectionately known as Yanni. Dawn relished  her role as mother and homemaker. Ianyanna was the center of her world and everyone who saw them together knew  “her Bubby” was the apple of her eye.Dawn who was affectionately known by friends as “Tugge” volunteered her time as a non teaching assistant within the Philadelphia Public School System for several years. You could often find Dawn spending time with friends/family playing cards and listening to music. Dawn’s charm and contagious smile will be forever remembered by those who knew her.Dawn leaves to cherish her loving memory; her daughter, Ianyanna White; brother, Jonathan R.S. White; Grandfather, Jonathan White; Maternal Aunt, Maria P. Bruno; two Nephews, Yahmir Sterling & Jaffiq White; Great nephew, Cameron Sterling; Cousin, Shrin Driver; Great Uncle, Samuel (Janice) Lyons; Great Aunt, Claire Lyons; Godmother, Geraldine Harris; Beloved Mom in Love, Ms. Linda Jackson; and a host of cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her Grandmothers Barbara T Bruno and Gloria Rodgers; as well as three Paternal Aunts, Ernestine, Harriet, and Jewel.
